HALO Automatic Testing System
for Metal Detectors
for Metal Detectors
Our revolutionary Halo system is an automatic metal detector testing device ideal for applications where manual testing is complex due to access, position, access to the product flow, environmental conditions, etc.
We designed Halo to test ferrous, non-ferrous and stainless-steel
samples on all Fortress metal detectors.
Automatic testing saves time, money, labor, and removes the risk of human error and workplace injury at critical control points on a manufacturing line. Halo is suitable for any Fortress metal detector. It's typically added at the point of manufacture, but users can also add it to some existing systems.

CALIBRATION AND TESTING
The Halo system calibrates to mimic specific metal sphere sizes and types, producing identical interference signals. It can generate multi-level signals, like replicating a 1.5 mm ferrous metal sphere when initiated and then, with a different prompt, produce a signal matching a 2.0 mm stainless steel sphere.
EXTERNALLY OPERATED SYSTEM
The Halo system operates externally from the detector, ensuring that test results are independent of the detector's control. This complete test method offers greater repeatability compared to manual tests, where controlling the test piece's position within the aperture is challenging. The system is integrated during manufacture or can be added to certain existing Fortress detectors.
